Essential details regarding the post of Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) in Grade 'A' of RBI EXAM 2018

 (i) Manager (Technical - Civil) in Grade 'B',
 (ii) Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) in Grade 'A',
 (iii) Assistant Manager (Security) in Grade 'A' ,
(iv) Legal Officer in Grade ‘B’ and
 (v) Assistant Librarian in Grade ‘A’

All these posts are technical posts and require specialization in the respective fields they will be posted at. The candidates who want to apply for any of these posts can visit the official website w.e.f 19.7.2018. The registration is open till the closing hours of  9.8.2018. The date for the examination is 01.09.2018 except for Assistant Librarian in Grade ‘A’ post.

 Aspirants want to register them for the post of ASSISTANT MANAGER (RAJBHASHA) IN Grade A should know the following details before applying for the same.

Essential details regarding ASSISTANT MANAGER (RAJBHASHA) IN GRADE 'A'
(1) Job necessities:

 (i) He or she should be able to translate from English into Hindi and vice-versa, the documents, manuals and publications which Bank releases from time to time.
  1. ii) Arranging the matter logically before sending for final printing.
iii) To be able to implement the use of Hindi as official language as per the Government instructions.
  1. iv) To be able to administer Hindi Teaching Scheme for the staff of the respective bank.
(2) Eligibility Criteria for the post:

(I) Educational Qualifications as on 1.07.2018:
The educational qualifications according to the notification are given below:

 (i) Second Class Master's Degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation, with English as Core/Elective/Major subject at the Bachelor's Degree level; OR

 (ii) Second Class Master's Degree in English with Hindi as Core/Elective/Major subject at the Bachelor's Degree level; OR 

(iii) Second Class Master's Degree in Sanskrit / Economics / Commerce with English and Hindi as Core/Elective/Major subject at the Bachelor's Degree level. (In lieu of a subject of Hindi at Bachelor's Degree level, one may have recognized Hindi qualification equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree); OR

 (iv) Master's Degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi Translation, of which one must be Second Class. Desirable qualification is to have knowledge of bi-lingual word processing.

(II) Age Limit as on 01-07-2018: 

Candidate should be between the age of 21 and 30 years. He or she should have not born earlier than 02/07/1988 and not later than 01/07/1997). Candidates with Ph.D. qualification are given the upper age limit as 32 years.  For SC/ST and OBC category candidates with Ph.D. degree are given relaxation from 5 to 3 years.

 3) Process of Selection: 
Candidates will be selected through examination and interview. The details regarding the date, time and venue of exam will be notified on the official website of RBI as and when it is finalized from time to time.
The Examination comprises of two Papers,
  1. Paper I (Objective type) Online and
  2. Paper II - [Computer/paper based) Written Examination]

The time duration of Paper-II examination will be of one hour duration . It will carry 50 marks. This paper is conducted to evaluate candidates’ ability to carry out translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa and basic knowledge of Official Language Policy of Govt. of India.Negative marking will be followed in Paper 1 i.e from tests with serial number 1-4 in the above table. Each mistake will be penalized with 1/4th of the marks assigned to the question.

Please make a note that Paper I and Paper II will be held the same day in the same session without any break. Both Paper I and II will be set in both the languages i.e. Hindi and English except for English section of Paper I. Language for interview can also be opted for interview. Paper II of those candidates will be evaluated who have qualified in Paper I. The list of candidates for interview will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in Paper I and Paper II. The final selection will be made by the Board taking into consideration the performance in the examination and interview session.
